How the ranked list works

Below the Featured spots, every city page lists companies by their Google rating weighted by the number of reviews, so a 4.8 from 300 reviews ranks above a 5.0 from 3. Companies that state the core service on their own website come first. A company that buys a best-of placement is pinned in the top three of that list and labeled Sponsored, so readers can always tell paid spots from earned ones.
